Ditto to what was said in the first review. We have been very pleased with Brad and Gary. We have given them quite a challenge in the design we chose. It was not one of their models but one we found on the Internet. Then we made a million modifications to that plan so that it is truly a custom house. I have worked for a number of builders and none of them can compare to the service we have gotten.

The most amazing part to me was the trades that they used. Every single person we worked with or talked to was unbelievably helpful in making our choices from lighting to appliances, pool to carpenters etc. They were all extremely knowledgeable and professional. They seemed genuinely concerned that were delighted with our choices. I am looking forward to getting to know all of them better when we move to Palm Coast. That is the kind of people they ALL are. This is the first time we have built a home and our experience has been very positive. I would recommend Auburn Homes to anyone.

When they say they are a true custom builder they mean it! My wife and I presented Brad & Gary Thomas a drawing of what we wanted and we wound up with exactly we had hoped for - we just moved in the other day and are happy we selected them (we talked to several builders before deciding).

They listen to your needs, concerns, etc. and do everything they can to make it the way you want it. And you can always reach them whether via phone or email, which really helps when things comes up such as making changes, asking questions, etc. If you are looking for a builder you owe it to yourselves to at least talk to them…we think you be happy you did!

We would like to express to you and your staff our appreciation for the professional job done on the building of our home in Palm Coast. Beginning with the assistance from Jim Walden in finding a perfect lot, through the design/planning and negotiation phase, through the selection of options and amenities with Georgette, through the actual construction of the house, to the final walk thru and follow up, we have been very impressed with the whole process and are excited about our new Florida home.

Having previously gone through six other new construction residences, but never one that was being built 500 miles away, we feel we are experienced enough to judge Auburn Homes’ performance, and you have met our expectations.

We had purchased a very modest home in Florida. Though the land and neighborhood was great, the home itself was lacking. So we decided to renovate. We were concerned since we would be out of state during the renovation. In hearing the horror stories and disappointments of friends who lived locally, some even cheated by their contractors, we proceeded with trepidation.

I interviewed several recommended builders including Brad Thomas of Auburn Homes. Brad was the most helpful with the process and his bid was very competitive. The renovation involved changing the orientation of the home and expanding to double its size. We wanted to transform this simple block home to a Spanish ranch with large arches and an attached great room with high ceilings and many other special amenities. We also reconfigured the internal layout of the existing structure. To top this there was a special roofing material and all this required fusion of rooflines and walls to the existing home, water and airtight.

Brad Thomas completed this project with the utmost integrity and honesty. Friends and neighbors of mine in the trades and construction business were very impressed with both the materials used and the workmanship performed. The construction was so sound that my energy bills stayed the same even though we doubled the home’s square footage.

Most of the time renovations are a compromise between what you picture in your mind and the final result. In this case, Brad Thomas of Auburn Homes didn’t just meet, but exceeded my expectations.
